Halla Swedish Pet Food is one of Sweden’s oldest producers of pet food. Since 1928, we have delivered a tasty and healthy alternative for the active dog and cat. Using the latest technology, we develop good and nutritious food made from natural, fresh and, as far as possible, Swedish ingredients.

On our farm a short distance from Skara, near Lake Hornborga, we have produced pet food for five generations. Through the years, we have used the finest ingredients offered by the land around us. With time, we have developed our processes in order to make nutritious food in a careful way with the least possible impact on nature.

Today, the family business is run by brothers Christofer and Stefan Jern. Just like earlier generations, we make nutritious and healthy food for active dogs and cats. With our great experience and competence in the business, we know that the fresh, pure and (as far as possible) local ingredients we use result in products of the utmost quality. Our love for discovery drives us to always look for new ingredients and production methods – to deliver a better product.

Here at Halla, we believe in the good meal! Eating good food should mean that you get all the nutrients that the body needs but also a tasty meal that you enjoy – to the last bite. That is why we focus on developing pet food that is both tasty and good for your pet. We use carefully selected ingredients to create a well-balanced diet.
But we also want to do good. We are proud of our commitment to long-term sustainable development. It is important to us. It’s not just words we put in a document – we live by it. The river Flian runs by us here in Marum and this is where we produce our own hydroelectric power. Because we like green electricity. Many of our suppliers can be found here on the Västgöta plain. Because we like locally produced. We strive to act responsibly through the entire chain, from farm to finished products.
